I am a writer, producer and creative director with a little over 8 years of professional experience, ranging from writing copy for social media to writing and producing short format content, to writing screenplays and heading development on long format fiction shows.
It all began with an internship at MTV back in 2009, where I first dabbled in both production for TV and experimented with digital content in the age of 256 Kbps internet. I then got into comedy writing with AIB where I wrote sketches that broke the internet and made headlines (in a good way). After this, I worked with Abish Mathew on a few of his properties such as Son of Abish, one season of which aired on Hotstar.
I am currently working with Dice Media as a creative producer. I have written and developed the third and fourth seasons of their popular web series, What The Folks. Most importantly, it is here that I developed, conceptualized and wrote India’s first Esports drama, Clutch, a show that resonated deeply with the Indian gaming community.
I am also a self-taught editor and designer and can double up as one, when the situation calls for it. I am a jack of all trades, and probably a master of some.
My work has generated over 160 million views across multiple videos and episodes, and this is just the beginning.
I could tell you about all the work I've done so far, but links speak louder than words.
Clutch is India's first Esports web series that I conceptualized and wrote the story for. It is an underdog sports drama where, a ragtag group of gamers from different backgrounds and different parts of the country put aside their differences to compete in one of India's biggest professional gaming tournaments.
What The Folks is one of Dice Media's most popular web series. I wrote the third season of the show and was the creative director on the fourth season.
Firsts was a first of its kind, Instagram-first mini-series by Dice Media, written and developed by me.
I wrote a number of sketches for AIB, a popular comedy channel on YouTube.
I wrote two seasons of Son of Abish, a late-night talk show, including monologue jokes and sketches. One of these seasons was picked up by Hotstar.
Conceptualized and produced Blazing Bajirao, an animated series aimed at introducing Bajirao as an action hero and make him a popular household name.
Edited the trailer of Aligarh, a film on the true story of a university professor who was harassed and prosecuted by his own workplace for his sexual orientation.
If you still want to know everything I've done, here it is, told in serious words for serious people. Synergy.
